Director of Training/Core Faculty/PsyD Program
Job Profile
The position is initially configured as full time position with ½ time assigned
to Director of Training duties and ½ time assigned to core faculty teaching
duties. The Director of Training is responsible for the development,
implementation, and evaluation of all program activities related to practicum
and internship training. Core faculty in the PsyD program are responsible for
maintaining the academic integrity of the program. Core faculty play an
essential role in curriculum development and review, supervision and evaluation
of students, assessment of program outcomes, and development of program
objectives. Although a full time position is preferred, initial hiring to fill
only a ½ time DOT position may be considered.
Qualifications:
An earned doctorate is required in psychology or a related mental health field.
Doctoral level Licensed Psychologist (LP), or license eligible as a LP in the
state of Minnesota is required. A minimum of five years experience working as a
professional psychologist is required. Graduate of an American Psychological
Association (APA) approved program and completion of an APA approved internship
preferred. Experience in graduate teaching and advising is preferred. Experience
with counseling individuals, groups, and/or families from diverse backgrounds is
preferred. Participation or experience in the development of a nationally
accredited doctoral program is preferred.
